You would think that if Lewis were some defensive genius that he would've already taken Austin out behind the woodshed and put him out of his misery. This defense is so bad that I'm not sure there's a word strong enough to convey how poorly they're playing. The best defensive coordinator we've had is doing alright as the head coach in Minnesota. Of course, part of what made him good was holding players accountable. That doesn't seem to be high on Lewis' list of things a coordinator should do (see when he cut off Guenther's balls publicly).
