No one expected the D to be a train wreck. it is an extreme understatement to say the D has under performed. Worst ever is no small feat to accomplish. Another notch on the bed post at the seniors home for Mikey.
Speaking of Ross, I know AD missed a few throws to him, but two plays stood out to me. Late in the game, Dalton misfired under pressure and threw low and outside to him.....he could have attempted a dive at the ball, but he just breaks into a trot. At first glance, I thought he had no chance, but I rewound it. Had he laid out for it, he at least gets a hand on the ball, and maybe a circus catch. Also, on the late pick off of the deflection, the ball was in the air forever, and he never comes back toward the ball. It really doesn't matter in the grand scheme of 51-14, but that kind of stuff shows no heart to me.
