On my realist side, however, I don't really expect to see that happen.
He is partially a victim of his draft position and the fact that other receivers selected after him have done so much better than he has and the team passed on many guys who really could be helping this team right now quite a bit more than Ross has.
Since none of us has a time machine to make a draft redo, we are going to have to live with Ross for at least the next two years. He still has a chance to have success. I hope he does.
It is going to be hard for him to have success if Dalton and Ross's timing is off and Ross keeps getting injured.
We do agree on lots of things Chris, i just need to see this guy healthy for more than a handful of games so he can
get on the same page with Dalton to really judge him at this level. Thought he did a lot of good things last Sunday
but Dalton just missed him. Those underthrows were inexcusable when you have a Receiver with that kind of speed.
He can catch up to the ball easier than coming back to it with two cover guys draped on him. Let him outrun them.
I do agree with Ocho that we need to use Ross more on Crosses, Slants, Posts and Screens and not just go routes.

I don't think he's the quality of receiver that Tyreek Hill is right now - and probably will not be as strong or explosive as Hill.
But I was encouraged by his play Sunday and have hope that he'll turn into a scary # 2 receiver - if he can stay healthy.
Me too, was encouraged. If he was quitting on routes and pulling up lame i would understand this thread.
However he should of scored 3 TD's but Dalton just underthrew the ball, simple as that.

Ross was open quite a few times on Sunday. But timing is key.
Dalton underthrew him twice on possible TDs.
But Dalton certainly has made better throws to Boyd and Green on similar routes due to, well, timing and familiarity.
Ross can get open, but if timing is off, then it's all moot point.
