I think Kroft proved last year he could match Eifert's TD numbers given the chance. So needing Eifert for TD's is overrated.
Eifert made his money down the seam. We don't even see those play calls with CJ and Kroft. That's why teams don't fear them or play the Bengals offense the same way they do when Eifert is in the lineup.
