They were not required to live in that hall or on that floor.  However our University reserved that floor of that hall for student with disabilities in the even that they would like to live there.  It was awesome.  Our University was incredible for access as well as services for students with disabilities.  I was fortunate to have been assigned to that Hall and floor.  I still keep in tough with a couple of them through Facebook.
