So Corey Kluber has a contract of 17 million next year, followed by 17.5 million, followed by 18.5 million before he becomes a free agent. So here's the thing...why bother trading prospects for this. Just keep your prospects and sign free agent pitcher at this salary. I mean we can get a free agent pitcher in this range WITHOUT giving up prospects, right?
