We know what is wrong, but the NFL is a monopolistic oligopoly with revenue sharing. This removes the truly capitalistic safeguards that normally limit the amount of incompetence a business owner can exhibit for decades at a time without losing his business to a more focused competitor. The Mike Brown way clearly doesn't lead to post-season/championship success...however, given the above, only Mike Brown can limit the amount of power Mike Brown gives Mike Brown.
