It sounds like MB is content with making the playoffs 5 years in a row...which is better than most franchise. But, when you look at no playoff wins in 26+ years, that's terrible. They choose not to look at that. They cherry pick indicators of success.
I keep going back to no franchise keeps a coach 10 years without winning a playoff game. We're looking at 16+ here.
While fans view this as a failure, the Bengals brass views this as a golden era based on what they experienced in the 90's.
