I don't get why people keep making this connection. If anything, it points more to the HC being a defensive guy.
Why is everybody ignoring the most simple explanation that maybe they just wanted Kubiak as the OC no matter who the HC will be?
To jump to the conclusion that they have already decided on one of the in-house turds means to also jump to the conclusion that they went through an elaborate ruse by going all the way to California. Does that sound anything like Mike?
