He has a 120.3 passer rating so far. He's nearly been flawless. If that's all "his talent level will allow", he must be pretty talented. Dalton really can't win with some. If he sucks, it's his fault. If he's great, it's all thanks to the talent around him.
How about we just give him his due credit when he's playing well, and stop pigeonholing him as an average (or below QB). If Dalton has a fantastic season, maybe he's better than some thought?
The training, nutrition, medicine, fitness, playbooks and rules evolve. The athlete does not.
