I've always believed it was more Bill than Brady. Brady is a good guy, so no hate from me, but imagine Peyton on the Patriots. He'd have 5-6 rings easily. I'd love to see Bill keep going after Brady leaves, cuz I have a strong feeling the success won't leave with Brady. Which could label Brady a system QB (maybe this is why there's rumored tension between the two?).
The training, nutrition, medicine, fitness, playbooks and rules evolve. The athlete does not.
