Williams did have better stats last year, but Collins was out for 4 games and played hurt for a couple. Look at career stats and you’ll see Collins is the better player. Also, a 3 time pro-bowler and all-pro in 2016. How many of those does Williams have?

If the Bengals did bring in Landon Collins, they could still move Williams to backer/hybrid role.
