The Jets aren’t going to bag Darnold after one year for a more expensive, ten year older, lower upside QB. And Daniel Jones’s advanced stats raise a bunch of red flags. Even the QB whisperer (Cutcliffe) couldn’t get his comp pct up to a decent level, and his YPA isn’t great either. He’s a volatile pick. Far better to stand pat and draft an elite LB, DT, or OT.
