Not a word about the Bengals.....and I like it.

Joe was a FA who had every right to sign wherever he wanted to.  Carson signed an extension with a guy he supposedly didn't like to play for a coach he apparently didn't like.  That's the difference between the two situations.  Oh, and the fact that he left after a 4-12 season.  Going got tough, and Carson got going.

And again, I have less a problem with Carson than Bengals fans who apologize for him.  I understand his logic, I'm baffled by yours.

I think you have it wrong.  The Bengals quit on the fans and players.  When it comes to football I still think Mike Brown doesn't know crap.  I'm glad Carson left and actually respect him for doing so.  At that time I wanted everyone to walk off the field and give MB the middle finger.  Anything to stop that madman from ruining another season.  Carson "quiting" gave MB a reality check IMO and that is a good thing.  I'm also happy Palmer is doing good and I still root for him.

You need to point your finger at the real quitter.  Mike Brown.
