In spite of the past, we can still dream. We are capable of dreaming, but knowing our FA haul likely becomes a nightmare. Who knows, maybe this is the year they shock us. 

That's a good question, as evidently either someone at the Enquirer or within the Bengals Management seems to think the fan's need to be "coddled", as you say..
