I would rather go for 2 quality guys in free agency than backups or bad starters.

So maybe that means this isn't yet the time to go heavy in FA.  Maybe make a trade, use the draft and then next year is the year to fill in the last piece or two.  I'm just spitballing but isn't that what we're all doing? That's kinda what Marvin did, isn't it?
