No, of course I wouldn't have a problem with trading for an impact player.  Is that a question even worth asking?  But would Mack have gotten us to the playoffs?

Wasn't your argument about signing high priced FA's?   And then you point to Mack, who was not signed as a FA.  Please stop moving the goal posts.
