Eifert is not even real.

He is like a rumor.

A vague dream.  An undigested bit of beef, a blot of mustard, a crumb of cheese, a fragment of underdone potato. There’s more of gravy than of grave about him

I remember last fall thinking how great it would be to see the offense with him for a full season.  It was all humming right along.  I actually believed it could happen when he lasted through the first 3 games.

Then, BAM!  Right back to being lost for the season in 1 play.
