Have you tried Samuel Smith's Nut Brown Ale? If you like brown ales, it's a must try as it's one of the highest rated amongst the craft community. It's not exactly like Newcastle though.

If you want to try a brown ale similar to what you already enjoy, I'd give Abita Turbodog a shot.

I'm no expert on the style, but there are some tasty browns out there.
