The Eifert deal is pretty good. If he's injured again, he only makes a $1 million base salary.
He needs to stay healthy and productive to bring it up to $4 million, which would be a bargain for a healthy Eifert.
The training, nutrition, medicine, fitness, playbooks and rules evolve. The athlete does not.
