Conner filled in nicely last year and AB, although extremely talented, was not the only reason they won games. They will be tough this year. As for the Ravens? Well, Jackson is hardly a good qb and although very athletic, it’s likely he throws more interceptions than TDS and might be the teams leading rusher, but expect he’ll be playing hurt if not riding the bench by mid season.
As for the Bengals? Well, there’s no telling what your going to get from these guys. So any speculation on them being the bottom dwellers or even winning the AFCN this year (hoping for the latter) is pure hogwash. Until we see at least a yr (in reality 2yrs imo) of watching this staff and team play the season, we really don’t know. It’s gonna be fun tho.
We have to really crush the draft to have a chance this year.
One thing that factors in that doesn't get talked about is our offense and defense will be vastly different than last year. That should give us an advantage early in the year as it won't be on tape for teams to gameplan against. As long as our guys can pick it up, that should help.
