Over the last 27 years less than half the league (14 teams) has won a championship. People who just want to shit on the Bengals ignore this because it doesn't make the Bengals look as bad.

My analogy was off. I’ll fix it.
Claiming the Bengals have been successful despite not making the playoffs in the past couple decades and never winning a Super Bowl is like a lawyer claiming success because they remembered to show up at court on the day of their case despite never actually winning.
