They do have a hollow point. Those are the ones that are $2.00 per round.
As far as damage to a body, the smaller caliber weapons they showed in that firefight scene I posted earlier probably do a lot more damage as most of them have rounds that tumble and bounce around once they enter the body. One of the things the scene gets right about firefights is how people get shot with the smaller rounds, but still move around and fire for a second or two afterwards. The ultimate damage of the small round hasn't fully registered yet. This round is more shock and knockdown, like a shotgun with no shot spread.
