The best part is, our TE coach actually PLAYED TE in the NFL, wanted this kid, but apparently doesn't know his ass from a hole in the ground. He obviously isn't the expert some of these pencil neck geeks on a website somewhere are.

They discuss it in the post draft interview with Casey and Callahan. I urge everyone upset to read it. The Bengals did do their homework and were targeting a blocking TE. They were impressed at the senior bowl with his route running and his tenacity blocking.
