Yep. I think Sample was a good addition to the roster. We've see TE's from systems that are all passing and no blocking struggle entering the NFL because they can't learn to block.

Sample actually can block and he has good hands on small attempts. I think the routes and tricks to get open can be taught.

That said, it appears we could have got him in the 3rd or 4th Round.

The board just played out in a bad manner for us in the 2nd and 3rd as there were no LB's worth taking with our 2nd Round pick. As good as it played out in the 1st Round to fill an OT need, it played out the opposite in the 2nd.
