You do realize rookie contracts don't allow for paying a 1st round pick true WR#1 money. They are rookies for a reason, they have yet to prove anything in the NFL so are paid accordingly. AJ makes 15 to 17 million  a year, Ross makes 4.3 million a year.

So, yes players are hired and paid with expectations, but looking the numbers Ross makes 25% of what WR Green makes each year so I guess 25% of AJ's production would make him earn his pay.

No rookie 1st round WR is paid WR #1 money for 5 years (4 years plus 5th year option) in today's NFL.
