So, yes players are hired and paid with expectations, but looking the numbers Ross makes 25% of what WR Green makes each year so I guess 25% of AJ's production would make him earn his pay.
No rookie 1st round WR is paid WR #1 money for 5 years (4 years plus 5th year option) in today's NFL.
Who was WR1 in 2011? What they make is not what I was getting at. The expectations were( I assumed this because of where he was drafted) that he could be a replacement for AJ someday. Anyone who has watched him knows he couldn't hold AJ's jock strap. Hopefully he proves everyone wrong but he definitely has a way to go.
