There's something to be said for this.
I am firmly in the doubter camp for 2019. I think that this is an extremely flawed roster with unworthy coaches in some key spots. Everything they did after the Taylor hire was a disappointing half-measure minus the Boyd extension.
That said, if AJ misses a month and they break even at 2-2 or even beat the long odds and make 3-1, then that's quite an impressive feat. This team absolutely runs through AJ Green when he's healthy. He opens up everything and can take over games when nobody else is getting it done.
It's not totally impossible if Eifert can stay healthy and the line can support Mixon. Those 3 are all guys you a defense needs to account for when they are healthy.
If they win 2 or more without him before October, then Taylor might as well be anointed savior.
