I think this defense has a chance to be a pleasant surprise this season. Can't be much worse than last year anyway.

I'm excited to watch the development of Hubbard and Bates. Good to see guys like Lawson and Glasgow back. Dre sounds like he is embracing the leadership role and is looking to have a great year (maybe he practiced catching this off-season).

As someone stated earlier, I also think getting Fej on the field more will be a nice boost to the D as well.
