It isn't just the Bengals, either. Griffey Jr, Votto, Adam Dunn, Jay Bruce and many Reds were polarizing when they shouldn't have been.
I think everyone loved Sean Casey and Barry Larkin.
The training, nutrition, medicine, fitness, playbooks and rules evolve. The athlete does not.
