Had the #Bengals placed Westerman on the Reserve/Left Squad list, it would have ended his season.

Westerman's agent said this has nothing to do with coaching or the direction of the team. His time away, as Zac Taylor said, is for personal reasons.
Hopefully, this will clear things up for some of us, especially since we've all had our knee-jerk and comedic reactions to the news. (myself included)
