Precisely; the Miami game was pure madness in the second half, with the dline dictating how the rest of that half went.
As for Hubbard, I truly feel he will max out as a 7.5-9 sack guy at best, but will average around 6-6.5 a year. This is fine, IMO, as he is great against the run and can go inside for specialist pass rushers to go back outside. Pairing him with Dunlap will be fun to watch.
If Dunlap plays with us for the next 5 years (under contract for what? 2 more years?) and Lawson gets a second contract, not to mention Geno, I see our pass rush being arguably top 3 in the league for the next 5-10 years, so long as everyone stays healthy and there is no drop off in play.
Every year, we also have one tweener/scrap heap guy who doesn't really fit in at one spot, but is versatile and plays a bunch of spots, that will contribute too:
Last year: Hubbard
2017: Chris Smith
2016: Will Clarke (then Dingleberry)
2015, 2013, 2012: Dingleberry
2014: No one
2011-prior: Fanene
This year, I'm looking for that guy to be Wynn and if he plays all season like he did last game, I think we can expect some great things from him this year.
