They're not the same player. Not even close. 

Geno has been in the top 5 in Pass Rush Productivity for the last 5 years. As a matter of fact, he's been top 5 every year except his injury year (2013 where he was 7th in a shortened year) and the following year when he was coming back from the injury. 

You know who hasn't been in the top 5 or anywhere close to it? Michael Bennett.  Aaron Donald is the only guy that can say he's in that same category as Geno, and he's not top 5 so far this year.
