Keep in mind that getting a 2nd or even 3rd round pick in some of these cases will land you day 1 starters. Unloading aging talent midseason is the best use of resources; you clear cap for free agency and gain capital in draft picks. None of these guys are going to take this team to a Superbowl and holding onto trade capital leaves you with a failing team and high-cost old players.
