Bengals don't have a chance (or want to pay the price) to sign a proven good FA OL like Castonzo or Bulaga.
Because of that, they choose to look to the draft once again.
Knowing they desperately need OL help, they skip QB in the 1st round and take Andrew Thomas.
They then take a QB in the second round like they did with Dalton (or trade up into the back of the 1st to get that option year).
And going OT is fine...but, we'll then have Jonah and Thomas hitting free agency in consecutive years. IF they pan out, would the team retain both at a high salary?
In the 1st, I think Tua is the only QB I'd target. I'd rather go OT than Herbert.
Who are we kidding though, the Bengals can and will mess up a high pick.
