For a team lacking healthy WRs and not having enough time for receivers to get downfield, they need to get their RBs more involved in the passing game. They also could get a true FB (only 3 teams utilize a FB and all 3 have great records) to improve the run game.
Isn't a foundation of the WC offense using short passes to augment runs. IF you can't run the ball, some short passes to the RB's seem like a way to go.
