Wentz is more athletic than Herbert. Herbert has athleticism like pre-injury Carson Palmer. He can move but it isn't an integral part of his game whereas Wentz is very, very mobile and he is elusive. I actually think Palmer is an okay comparison for Herbert but not a 100% fit.
Herbert, to me, is somewhere between Haskins and Palmer. Herbert can move like Palmer could and has all of the arm talent that Palmer had. He is not Palmer because of his mechanical inconsistencies which leads to his accuracy struggles. He also struggles under pressure and reading defenses consistently. These are some of the same issues that Haskins had.
