How could they spend less? Doesn't all teams have to spend to the salary floor? In MLB there is no cap or floor, teams can spend as much or as little as they choose. There is a luxury tax that punishes MLB teams for spending OVER a set amount but this is often ignored by the big market teams.

I too believe they think they are running things correctly because the way the NFL does business, the Brown family are making a profit year end and year out no matter what product they put on the field.

You are 100% correct. It's too bad Mike Brown isn't more of a fan. Look at our owner as he watches games and watch Robert Kraft or Jerry Jones watch games. They have a passion for the game that I just don't see from Mike Brown and that's a shame.
