Vigil is in his 4th year. Usually players don't blossom after their 4th year. That usually happens by Year 3 or 4. If Vigil was the first LB off the bench in a VRey role, that might be ok, but I'd bet he'd be a starter if he is re-signed.
The Bengals need to move on from Vigil and make Preston Brown the first LB off the bench, as neither are worthy of starting.
