If you work four days, you were paid for five days, 40 hours
If you work five days, you were paid for six days, 40 hours plus an eight hour OT shift even if the holiday was on one of your days off.
If you work six days, you were paid for seven days, 40 hours, plus two eight hour OT shifts even if the holiday was on your one day off.
HOWEVER
If you work seven days, 56 hours, you got paid for 60 hours, 44 regular hours plus 16 OT hours, your holiday bonus is now only 4 regular hours.
Your seventh day didn't count as overtime . . . it didn't even count as regular time, you put in an eight hour shift for the seventh time in one week and it was only half wage due to their policy for overtime during a holiday week. This policy stayed in place until they sold their business.
Work 6 days, paid for 7
Work 7 days, paid for 7 1/2
I'm pissed off all over again after typing that out.
