Why would someone want to offer a 2nd rounder when they know that the Bengals very likely want to move on from him and know his cap hit is $17.7 mill whether released or traded?
Look at the Tannehill deal for something comparable to what the Bengals would likely have to settle for Dalton:
Titans got Tannehill and a 6th round pick in exchange for their 2020 4th and 2019 7th rounder.
Tannehill's contract was also negotiated down as part of the agreement of the trade.
As others have said, I think the Bengals would get, at best, a 3rd rounder. Probably more like a 4th rounder.
Zac Taylor 2019-2020: 6 total wins
Zac Taylor 2021-2022: Double-digit wins each season, plus 5 postseason wins
Zac Taylor 2023: 9 wins despite losing Burrow half the season
Zac Taylor 2024: Started 1-4. If he can turn this into a playoff appearance, it will be impressive.
