I'm not the one that will be paying Andy Dalton $18 mil next year. 2019 was not an anomaly; he was 26th the year prior, it's called a trend. I agree it's bananas.
It's the coaching staff's job to be part of the "investment for our future QB". They'll do it without the crazy 17 or 18 million salary cap hit. There are so many journeyman QBs that could be brought in to "help" Joe Burrow for peanuts. It makes zero since to keep Andy Dalton around for that reason.
I'm gonna break every record they've got. I'm tellin' you right now. I don't know how I'm gonna do it, but it's goin' to get done.
