I wouldn't side with Mike Brown at all. He's earned his reputation for not being committed to winning over the past 29 years. You don't have to look any further than last off-season's lazy free agent period and awful draft to understand just how little winning means to the guy.

Competitive players want to compete to win. Eli won two SBs with the Giants while Philip Rivers never really came close to playing in a SB.
