I have to think that the empty seats played a role in the decision to "open things up". They have always prided themselves on being a family business. Most family businesses are prideful in the product that they put out. Having so many season ticket holders walk away likely was enough to send the message.
Volson is meh, but I like him, and he has far exceeded my expectations
