I remember going to the Baltimore message board that night and they were all going off about AJ. That’s what he does when he’s on the field. Frustrates CB’s, frustrates DC’s, and really frustrates opposing fans.
Nobody wants AJ from his prime gone. The thing is AJ in his prime is probably gone whether he’s on the team or not. Some of us on here will have to eat some crow about AJ at season’s end. I hope that I’m the one that was way off base. I’m a value guy and I like paying for future projections vs past performance. His future isn’t going to be better than his past. It probably won’t equal his past and it possibly will be way worse. The money is for a performance that at least equals his best ever season. He’s definitely gifted enough that if he can stay healthy to beat the odds. I’m more conservative but it’s easy to take a chance if it’s not your money. I do hope that he stays healthy and has a great season. He’s the kinda guy that’s easy to root for.
