You should be happy, but instead you complain, argue, and cherry pick the facts that fit your agenda. Comparing Bridgewater's contract and Tyrod's is apples and oranges.
Andy, was fairly competent as or QB. Ts, he always made one or two bonehead plays per game. Had some good years here. Best of luck to him and his family. He was a class act for the Bengals.
Oh please. I merely responded to being attacked by Mantooth and grew frustrated with having to repeat myself half a dozen times to Spazz.
This was my original post in this thread that caused so much hullabaloo...
The market was just not there. He might have brought back a single 4th or something, but that’s about it.
And here’s the other one...
They don’t have the cap room. They’d have to make some significant cuts.
I didn’t start with the caps or defensive tone until posts like this start coming in...
You seem to spew tons of misinformation and, even worse, you usually represent it as simple fact.
He was released. His now former contract is void. His salary and cap hit moving forward is 100% negotiable, and is not at all based on his previous 17.5 mil hit.
I would not look for him to make anywhere past 5 mil per, on a short deal, with very little guaranteed. (For reference, Jaemis Winston just signed for 1.1 mil.)
They can easily find room for him without making "significant cuts" if they choose to. You're wrong yet again. Shocking, I know.
You just do not follow/read very well do you? You want an argument every time and answer every question like you know everything in the world.
It would be a problem for the Bengals because they are not creative with the salary cap....NE is creative and if they want Andy they will figure out how to get it done. It had nothing to do with Andy BEING on our books. It was about the difference between the organizations. You spouted off about them having to "make significant cuts", which they would not because they know how to do things.
So, next time please read the statement before responding like a know it all pompous ass.
So would you want to apologize for claiming I got nasty first?
