Yeah, he could possibly get that much next year IF both he and his O-line stays healthy. And he has only played a full 16 games ONCE so far.
He is only due to make $1.2 million this year. I am sure he would rather have a $40 million contract than a $30 million contract, but is the gamble worth it when he could end up with only $1.2 million? No way I would pass up $10 million guaranteed to take that risk.
