I was looking at an article on CBS Sports that estimated that a season without fans in the stadiums, the league would lose an average of $70M per team in gate receipts alone. $70M x 32 teams = $2.24B, and that's not counting any sponsorship, merchandise, advertising, or any of the potential losses of every business that generally receive from sporting event attendees.
