They are more than myths closer to exaggerated historical events.

Moses splitting the red sea is a perfect example. Moses learned the tides in the red sea when he left Egypt and used that knowledge to trick the Egyptians. Neapolitan did the same thing centuries later. If you can look past the occult fanaticism the Bible is one of the oldest historical references we have....
