I will say I've heard a lot of people claim they probably already had covid without knowing what it was but that sounds like mostly self promoting bs.
I definitely had something similar to it, in 2012; obviously it wasn't COVID-19, as it didn't exist yet, but my symptoms were identical to the ones everyone is mentioning, save for how long it lasted (It peaked around the 12 hour mark or so and got SLOWLY better from there; I'm talking 5 days).
Considering I haven't had the flu since I was 8 (and aside from 1 cold a year, NEVER get sick), lost my sense of taste and smell and had the worst shakes and chills (while sweating no less) I've ever had in my life, it was definitely something along the lines of these Coronaviruses.
Funny, it took me almost a month of this one to be around, to realize that I did have something similar; almost completely erased it from my mind lol
